Truly a pioneer in early womens aviation.

For anyone interested in Jerrie Cobb's story as well as the other 12 women that were considered for the early space program there is a terrific new Netflix documentary called Mercury 13 that I would encourage you to watch. All 13 of the women that were recuited for testing either preformed at the same level, or surpassed, the original Mercury 7 astronauts test results.
