    Fare Price: $ 1700.00

Omega Tresór Deville GENTS 1949, Movement 30 T2, Caliber 265, solid case 18 k Rose Gold.

Im looking similar watches with steel case and worst condition in about $500-$700
and with gold bath about $1100, but solid case $1500-$2000, is this OK?
    Just as a reference

Not sure... But that is truly beautiful! Hard to put a price on something that looks so great.

Seems like it’s spent a lot of time hanging out with a polishing wheel.

Not a fan of the dial. I think you can do better.

I don't like the case or dial condition, to me its value lies more in the gold than as a collectible watch. I see it EUR 650-750 max, but I personally wouldn't buy it.

I'd rather have an attractive watch with a plain extract than a plain watch with an attractive extract ;)

It is a plain watch because there a plenty of the same watch in steel case, and people want to pay the same price, but should be completly different if there are few of this, in this forum always everything shoul be cheap, nobody gives the right value of things, I just sold a Seamaster 300 big triangle on 1967 for $13,000 and there are idiots here who told the watch it is worthless because had been polyshed.

Lol, you have to know your audience, people here are collectors, no one wants to pay retail ! People here put in the time instead of the money, others put in the money instead of the time. It's true enough that people take a very critical eye to any watch posted, it's what the forum is for....

in a sales negotiation people are going to point out all the flaws to get your price down, and rightly so. In a thread like this I think you are just getting people's honest opinion. This watch would be a pass for me and the price way too high IMO.

I don't see why you are so upset. You asked for opinions, and you received opinions. People are not saying that the watch is worth nothing, they are advising you not to buy it because of the condition. I agree. As a collector, I don't like the condition of that dial and case, and I wouldn't add it to my collection, regardless of the price.

you're right, i take too personal the opinions, it is because I get a lot of critics with my omega seamaster 300, and I sell it for $13,000 so that means the opinions here are with double intentions.

the price that I suggested fos the rosegold watch (And I repeat Im not selling here) at the beginning of the post is $ 1500 to $ 2000, that's what I've seen for this watch on the web in several places, I ask you if the price of $ 1500 is totally high as you suggest what the fair price would be ?, even if you are not interested

Even if some people were criticizing your watch for that reason, you shouldn't generalize. Not everybody here is the same. Most people give their honest opinions as collectors.

To me that price actually sounds quite reasonable with the tired dial and polished case. If you look around, you will find a lot of non-Omega 18K dress watches in that price range or even lower.

    Sorry I dont understand
I agree with you, I mean the some people here misunderstood the question.

first: I am not selling so those who say that the price of $ 1500 is very high stop acting like they are fishing and lowering prices.

Second: I do not ask if you like the watch or how much you are willing to pay even if you do not like it.

I ask $ 1500 is the reasonable price for an omega Trésor of 1949 Movement 30t2 cal.265 of 18 k solid case of rose gold in the market?
