Dear All, Recently I acquired a brand new Speedmaster. The original one, hesalite Crystal and all, the one that went to the moon. I am delighted with my watch, but as a paranoid new owner I cannot bear from asking. Today I shook a smoothie rather violent with my left hand while my watch was on. I am wondering wether such behavior could damage the watch. I know it went to the moon and back, but I would still appreciate your clever advice. Kind Regards, Luka
I believe we have determined the watch can stand a little shaking. We have also learned that the grammar (and spelling) police are ever present.
It is all easy if English is your native language... And yet I can tell - some of you guys would not pass an English test. In Sweden. Edit. I would better add a or two.
"Shaking a smoothie" is a new one. I've heard choking the chicken, flagging the mule, slapping the salami, beating the bishop, etc. Personally, I don't think these kind of discussions belong on a reputable forum.
I have always thought it was "flogging the mule"? But who am I to comment on how you go about your business...
When I left an old job, where a number of my staff had spelling and grammar issues, this is the farewell card they gave me: I had it framed.
