Astronaut beat up is different than normal people beat up. 😉

Didn't notice the dial. Good eye.

Sorry, no more information than what is in the auction site. Perhaps the auctioneers would have more information. It is curious that Rolex gave a watch as i have not heard that before.

Rolex didn't always give a lot of exposure on such events...
Remember, 50 years ago, post-Apollo 13 mission Rolex gave astronaut Jack Swigert a Gold Rolex GMT-master as Swigert gifted his space-flown Rolex 1675 GMT-master to their museum in Geneva - Switzerland...
