In my opinion Revue watches are severely under appreciated for what they are. With a rich history making top notch in-house movements it deserves it's own thread😉
Is the modern Revue Thommen the same company or was the name simply bought?
I'm not quite sure, but up to 2000 it was pretty much the same company producing aircraft instruments. They then licence the name out and later sold it when the company was restructured in 2012.
Here’s mine. Currently vailable for sale on the sales forum. I really like it but have decided I must let go a few watches.
The movement indeed is quite beautiful.

Revue also delivered to the German army during WW2. I have this one. They also did WWW issues for the British army under the name Vertex, but that one has eluded me so far... This one was in a sorry state before I had it repaired and serviced.. https://mitka.co.uk/2018/09/03/project-revue-sport-calibre-59/
Also worth looking out for are other brands featuring Revue movements and MSR movements. MSR was established by Revue in 1961 as a movement manufacture. Photo of GT 350 also knowns as MSR 350
I have seen following brands using Revue movements:
Wittnauer
Marvin
Vertex
Vulcain
