·It is with a truly heavy heart that I let go of this grail. But circumstances dictate the sale. I hunted for years to find this one and got it from a private collector overseas.
It was serviced by Superior Watch in Brooklyn two years ago. At that time, nos hands and crystal were installed. Purists, fear not, as I am including the original hands that are in excellent condition.
Dial: exceptional sigma dial that is flawless with an amazing "micro bubble" patina that I occasionally see on other 866 Ingenieurs.
Hands: nos and relumed to match dial. The astute observer will see that the seconds hand is short. That is because it was meant for an 812 Aquatimer! So yes, a mistake. But the included original seconds hand is in excellent condition and the lume matches the other hands.
Case: excellent and unpolished with sharp original chamfers. A few superficial scratches on case, case back and bezel.
Movement: pristine and serviced two years ago.
Bracelet: original to watch and excellent. It is sized for my 6.75" wrist but is a bit loose and has one more adjustment on the clasp. I am also including an extra link so it should easily fit wrists of up to 7.125".
Please do not hesitate to ask for more pics and info.
