Review 2025 and 2026 Outlook for Omega and the industry?

Unbelievably 2025 has almost ended. In a year of tariff and geopolitical uncertainty, how do you think the watch industry and Omega specifically have gone? What about next year? I also wonder if Omega can reclaim the number two spot from Cartier any time soon.

For me, it is probably just a pipe dream, but I keep wondering whether the industry will ever shift back to dress watches or to watches with more modest sizes and a bit of restraint. Sizes have come down somewhat, but it still feels like all the attention is on sports watches and the humble elegant dress watch is still sitting on the sidelines.

A dress watch will always be more stylish than a big sports watch and a h... of a lot more stylish than every beeping Apple watch, training fitbit and what not! We see those things every day, so when the occasion is right we have a chance to be special and wear our smaller dress watches. Just needs the right amount of influencers pushing the consept, then its a trend.

I have never seen a coctail watch on a ladys wrist since my childhood, my mother used to wear a Omega Saphette on a gold bracelet. If I saw a woman wearing that today, she would have my attention.

I am wearing my Geneve to a party this weekend. I hope it doesnt look like this on sunday again.
