Anyone know who runs the site qualityvintagetimepieces.com? Me and Dennis don't know. The guy has some nice pieces. My brother wants to buy one but I've no idea who or what his reputation is. Thanks for the replies.

I bought a watch from them last year before I found this forum.Being new, I naturally ended up overpaying a bit for that Geneve, but overall I was quite happy with the purchase. The seller (a chap called Sao) was quite friendly and responsive, and the price was negotiable. The watch came carefully packaged, and it was pretty much as advertised. Based on that single sale, I had a good experience, but looking at the prices on their website, you could certainly do some negotiation I think.

 

QVT........... they have wide vintage selection at any one time, mostly average quality, the price is in high side but not outrageus.

 

if you buy from the website (not ebay) you can get a better deal. he's good to deal with and keen to do business if it's reasonable
