Beffore picture looks the same without lume. It never occurs to me because I don't care. :)

    Thanks.

What was the process and sequence in getting this done since you had three basically three sources doing the work?

You will have to contact Everest for pricing because every job is unique.

Strap can be ordered any time. My watchmaker removed dial and hands and sent them to Everest and serviced the movement in the meantime. He installed dial and hands for final adjustment and then recased.

Just out of interest, is the lume inert or does it actually glow?

It glows! That's what Everest Watch Works specializes in... replacing bad lume with good.

So did they use superluminova for the relume?

I believe so, or something similar. Adding other pigments affect how much it glows, though.

A note on the "emergency crystal replacement". The crystal I received was vintage thin glass, and possibly original. Having deficient vision and a mildly unsteady gait, I flailed my arm against a cooler door handle and broke the glass crystal. Local watchmaker Noah replaced it with Sternkreuz Type M, a plastic crystal. Safer choice for me.
