    Would one of you kind gents please point me to some tips on resizing an 1159 bracelet from a MkII Speedmaster? I assume that there are directional pins in the links, but not able to figure out which direction to shove and thought I'd ask before applying force.

    The removable links are screwed in on these, at least the original ones were.

    That I didn't know.. makes you wonder why the hell they went back to pin and bushing when they had a nice screw system back in the 70s ::confused2::

    Yes, but not necessarily inferior.

    Patek uses them even today on some bracelets IIRC.

    Well, unfortunately, some hack has done something horrible to my removable links. They are certainly no longer held in place by screws as show in in the diagram.

    I'm about to have new pins installed on a 1159 when mine arrives from Australia. I will keep you informed.
