I recently acquired a beautiful gold plated Omega 145.034 Speedy Mark II. However, I realized I was unable to activate the chronograph function and determined that the pusher extensions were missing:mad:

After some research I found what I believe are the proper Omega part numbers for the start/stop and reset pusher extensions (093ST0017 and 093ST0026)

Now finding these parts (or even a generic replacement) seems to be an exercise in unobtanium futility. I considered having them fabricated but my watchmaker does not have the proper machining tools. I've tried the usual sources like Ofrei, Cousins, and Ebay to no avail. Any help in retrieving these would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Rasputin’s check on Ebay, actually there is a full case for sale that can serve as donor, the case is ugly but the extension are there I think.

You may need more than just 093ST0026 depending if the Operating lever has a small hole in it for 093ST0026 to fit into. I have one MkII movement where that pin on the operating lever is solid so there is no way to add extra length by added 093ST0026 ..... but who knows maybe someone made a modification to it years back in its history

As @pascs mentioned, the solid pin on the operating lever does not allow fitting of the pusher extension (093ST0026) as there’s no hole in it. It seems like one has to drill a hole in the pin to allow the stem of the extension to fit into it. Is there a different execution of the 861 operating lever with a hole in the pin intended for case ref 145.034?

MkII movement fitted for MkII case. Operating lever has the extension pin fitted.

Old spare MKII movement, without pin

This is I think is from a 911 movement, it was in a packet of 911 spares I picked up a long time back

So, you need both extensions or only the operating lever extension? If you have to manufacture an extension of some sort, consider the cheaper solution of extending the pusher .you have to measure exactly, leave some space for operating correctly without blocking the function. If you are looking for suitable materials, consider the massive endparts from Springbars. File the round pin into a screwdriver blade like flat piece and insert that into the adjustable part of the pusher stem. I've seen that in watches coming from countries without Omega parts supplies. Removable solution. Once everything is in the case, it works just fine. Kind regards. Achim

I already have the pusher extension but it doesn’t fit into the lever bc the lever doesn’t have a hole like the one that @pascs depicts. I may either drill a hole into my operating lever vs trying what you suggest with a spring bar.
