So I stand here in total shame and don't want to be left alone! Has anybody ever sold a piece only to buy it back later? That's the position I'm in. I sold a piece to fund another but kept thinking about the one I sold. Kind of like the girl you let get away but had the chance in the end to win back. So in the end I wound up with the same watch I once owned! I know pics or it didn't happen but I'm in shame and don't want to show pics! [emoji3] BTW now that's it back on I've never been happier!

Probably pretty common here. I sold my watchco sm300 about a year ago, I have one coming in the post and it should arrive Friday.

I even went so far as emailing the person I originally sold watch asking if I could buy it back. He never did respond.

The same exact watch or an identical replacement?

I've done both several times, but the most notable was trading my first Centenary away. Not that I didn't like the watch I received, but I realized the 2500 was a watch I didn't want to be without. As often as I flip and trade, this reference was about the perfect vintage piece for me so I bought another, and luckliy it's in better condition than the first.

Yes, I have exactly the same problem. Sold my Geneve earlier this year and felt sad about letting it go ever since. Unfortunately the person I have sold it to does not answer my mails anymore. Bummer!

I sold my DSOTM and Rolex Yacht-Master and it's likely that I'll try to reacquire both in the future, so I'm right with you!

Sold a Connie on this forum and still regret it. Emailed the buyer the other day and told him I had dibs and would pay a premium to get it back. Live and learn, sometimes the hard way. I don't think he is interested in selling it.

Glad to see that through the responses I'm not alone. The Skyfall AT is the other repurchase for me. As much as I love a good PO or speedy that particular AT is still my favorite. Goes up or down with attire and is extremely comfortable on the wrist. Plus it's a freaking great looking piece.

Not yet, but I'm close. Thinking about buying another Omega Great White GMT after selling mine about a year ago. It and the Tudor Date Day Jumbo are the only ones if sold and still think about.

That's one I haven't pulled on yet. Been tempted plenty but haven't pulled. After this last round I'm out for a bit. But when I recoup I may consider it. [emoji3]

I just bought my third watchco sm300 today, I think it's time to just keep it :)

I am going to sell my vintage sm300 once I get the watchco kit assembled, I decided I like the "new" version better!
