Hey fellow Omega addicts, I recently purchased these no 16 endlinks, but I am not definitely sure if they are genuine. They are missing the ridge underneath and the no 16 itself looks slightly different to the ones I have seen previously. I haven't seen any repros in the past..but these days everything is possible To all the no 16 owners: what do you think? I am looking forward for some feedback Many thanks !
The OP #16 obviously is printed at an angle and doesn't appear to match any others shown. Were there different versions? different manufacturers?
I couldn't find any sophisticated infos regarding the no 16 endlinks...it seems there is a lack of data I have the impression they are even rarer than the no 6 or 516 which show up on eBay etc.. once a month it would be great if anyone got more infos and details about the no 16
MWO pairs the 16s with the 7912 bracelet for the 105.012-63 (20mm). Then with the 1506 between 1964 and 1966 for the same watch (replaced by the 516s sometime after). Hard to say if they are rarer that the 6s. All straight lug Speedies and Seamasters vs. three or so years of 105.012s and Seamasters?
I am thinking the same..does anyone know for sure? I still got the opportunity to return the endlinks..and they weren't cheap
sorry to worm up this thread one more time guys but is there anybody who can confirm that the ridge underneath and the horizontal stamp are obligate markers for the no 16 endlinks ? When looking at no 516 & 532 endlinks there is no ridge and the number itself is also stamped in a certain angle and not horizontal I am wondering if its possible that there were different generations for the no 16 endlinks? ...as for the no 6 ...I just want to make sure before I return them...these endlinks are so hard to find...
Are these even for the 19mm Speedmasters? The bracelet chart says they were for the .012s which have 20mm lugs no? https://omegaforums.net/attachments/omega-speedmaster-bracelet-history-png.154102/
