I'm trying to decide on a leather strap or metal bracelet for when I buy my Speedmaster Pro. I really want to have both, and for both to be original Omega products. Can I buy staps or bracelets directly from Omega? Or would I need to find it second-hand at auction? They don't say on their website, except for Nato straps. Suggestions appreciated.

 

You can buy both straps and bracelets directly from Omega.

If you are going for a leather strap, go for brown. The Speedy looks great on a brown leather strap.

 

If you buy new buy on the bracelet then buy the strap separately. It’s cheaper.

If it’s a vintage piece there are other options.

 

Definitely agree with this. Buy on a bracelet and buy the strap separately. You should save yourself some money.

 

Went through the same years back, settled on a NATO and never looked back. Omega has quality stuff no matter which you decide.
