I have a cal 600 ref 14757 gold plated Omega. I ordered a proper crown from Cousins and it should be in my mailbox today.

I'd like to pick up the proper stem for the watch as well. I've found a few that are listed as cal 600, I feel like the first one below looks correct and that it will need to be trimmed but I wanted to try and be sure:

This is my first attempt at replacing any parts of a watch, I bought this one for about $140 and the case is in pretty bad shape so I'm willing to take the risk and this feels like a pretty reasonable self-repair to make. That said, if anyone has any tips or nice instructional videos that would be awesome.

    Both are incorrect.

First one is for a front load case (Seamaster DE VILLE) type.

Second one is a LONG stem, perhaps for a pocket watch.

I believe this is the one you need, @Archer would know for sure.

That's the second one actually. It's for a split stem, so not appropriate for this case, and you would need the other half as well if you were going to use this one.

The first one...yes for pocket watches.

Yes - 72206001106 is the standard replacement stem - it will require cutting to length of course.

    Cheers, Al
