Replacement dial for Speedmaster 105.003 64

I am looking for a replacement for 90s service dial that was put in some time ago! I have been told there is an official omega service replacement for this period that would make the watch look more authentic. Think an original would be out of my budget. This watch was purchased from my friend who bought it new in 1965 from a naafi shop on a military base in Germany . Unfortunately I have just found out it was serviced by an authorised dealer many years ago and the dial was replaced without him actually noticing? All help appreciated on this matter please. James

I saw your post on Facebook and wondered if we’d see this watch on here.

Service/replacement dials do appear from time to time but I think you’d be paying four figures for an original period one. You may be better getting a replacement dial for the 3594.50.00 and having a reulmer add lume to help it match the hands.

You should be prepared for a budget of more than 2k usd for an original dial . Also the hands were replaced too, so maybe another 1k5 usd for a set 😵‍💫

There are two current Omega service dials available for this case and movement.

064PP2001001AS

and

064PP2001002AS

The difference between the two is that the first one listed above has a slightly better looking applied Omega symbol. I think this is the version you have shown in the very first photo in your post.

These are not expensive when purchased from Omega, but you would have to find a watchmaker with an Omega parts account who would be willing to get the dial and do the swap. It could also be relumed to better suit the look for vitnage if you like.

The dial feet for the 1861 would not work for the 321 movement in the OP's watch. It would require someone to remove the existing feet and install new longer feet, or somehow extend the exiting. Considering there is already a replacement dial for the case and movement, that would be the easier option.

Cheers, Al

I have also noticed that there seem to be some service dials popping up that also have a step dial. Is this a new part number? See this photo from an listing from Tambowatches.
Thanks,
Mike

🤦 You are of course correct. With that said, I had never seen step service dials for 105.12/105.12s. Is this a new part number?

Trying to see the step is quite difficult with the photos provided on the Omega Extranet, because they are just straight on photos. So I'm doing the best I can to detect a step from those photos below...

Dials listed are:

064PP2001001 - domed in appearance

064PP2001002 - this appears to have stepped dial based on the photos - one side of the photo looks like is has that drop off.

The description is in what I call "Swinglish" (Swiss English) and it includes this - DIAL BLACK W. STAIRS

So thinking that stairs have steps, this may be a stepped dial...
