I recently purchased this 2910-SC with the calibre 284 movement that dates back to 1956. I would like to replace the crystal but have not been able to find the correct part number or information on the crystal diameter online. Might anyone have any information on this? Thank you in advance!

I think it will be easier to visit a watchmaker and to remove the glass and measure it. After that you can search for a replacement one.

Yes, I agree that the easiest way would be to remove and measure the old crystal directly. The watch is on its way to me and i asked because I wanted to order the new crystal too and exchange it as soon as the watch arrives to save time. Can’t wait to put it on my wrist. 😁

Nice catch there Hensley! I think once a few resident experts like Archer come across this thread they will have an Omega part number for you to work with. 👍

You have a Turler one too! Nice watches there. 👍

I did some “measurements” with a 2910 image I found online and my amateurish guess for the correct crystal size is… 30.6mm! Let’s see what the experts say. 😁

I think this is it according to cousinsuk, which has a 31.1mm diameter:

I'm not one of those experts by the way, so it would be great if someone can confirm

Thank you! If it is indeed PN1064, then its size would be D31.1 H3.5. 👍

The correct crystal is the one noted above...per Omega...
