My daily seamaster has an issue with the screw not seating fully as though the threads are stripped I think. I understand it needs to go in for repair, is this via omega only (UK) or anyone else able to sort this repair out as a recommendation? Any ideas how much I'm looking at for this ? Cheers

Any reputable watchmaker with access to Omega parts should be able to take care of the problem. You might want to get it fully serviced while you are at it, if it's never been done or don't know it's service history. This does not have to be sent to Omega to fix. This should be an easy fix for a competent watchmaker.

I believe this SM 300 was discontinued in 2008, so it is at a minimum 10 years old. It would definitely be due for a full service. Since it sounds like you are based in the UK, someone here should be able to reccomend a watchmaker in your area. Good Luck!
