    Hi..guys..
I am a new in this forum and this time want to ask something about this constellation..
Some one offering me his all gold connie...automatic one and the caliber is 5XX (I am forget)..
I like this watch but I am not in a hurry... so I take a picture of the dial..
I take a look the pic to my friend and he said that the dial was repainted...
Is it true that the dial repainted??

The caseback looks like someone polished it with a chisel, looks more like a bowler hat than an observatory :(

No Not sad at all. It's not a bad redial and the refinisher has even made the effort to print the dots at the hour markers. This watch has been worn and not coddled and that is what happens to watches that have a lot of wrist time. The case is well-rounded through use, mainly, IMO and it's chugged on all these years.

It deserves a medal - perhaps one with a sharp observatory - and with a little TLC will keep chugging on into the future.

    Cheers

    Desmond
