    Howdy folks

I have two Speedmasters now, a 345.0808 (first clear caseback) and just received a 2004 Japan Racing Special (very nice!)

I want to adjust the bracelets to fit me on both, but I tried a little with the 345 and got worried that maybe they were screw types and I was trying to bash them out with a hammer... :\

Can anyone help me? If I posted photos of both bracelets, could someone help me identify which fittings they have?

    Thank you all........ :)

Pictures would help. Sometimes split pins can look like screws.

So, the bracelet is an 805, here is a picture - as you can see, there are no arrows indicating which way the pins should come out:

Here is the side where the ends of the pins look like screw heads:

ans the other side where they just look like pins:

So, I'm not sure if they are micro screws or just push pins with grooves cut into one end.... thanks in advance any help.

Really? Which side do I push? ( :D)

And are there collars inside which will come out? Or are these some kind of split pins that stay put with tension?

    Thanks a lot

Push from the side opposite the slot. I don't think there are collars, just a friction fit.

Also better if you tap it out with a pin tool and hammer. If you don't have a pin tool, a drill bit will work. Support the bracelet in a non-marring vise first.

OK thanks... yes I bought a vice and a little pusher and hammer -also, the sort where you screw and push it out but I found the hammer way easier.

These are folded split pins - not sure I have ever seen these used by Omega on a bracelet as these are typically used on very low quality bracelets. Most use pins and tubes, so it's possible someone has replaced the original pins with these. OP says the bracelet is an "805" but I'm guessing that's the end link. Is there a number on the inside of the clasp?

    1447 - this seems correct:

No tubes called out for the 1447, so it only calls out the pins - part number 128ST1447, but no images available to show what they look like. Going to order some in the New Year to see what they look like.

If you want to shorten the bracelet, I don't think you have a choice.
