Carefully check the spelling of each word on the dial. When copying another dial, kerning and degraded paint can be misleading, particularly if you don't speak the language! (from eBayPurchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network)
Probably aimed at the US market......... https://blog.harwardcommunications.com/2010/10/18/metre-and-meter/
I'm not sure what you are referring to specifically, but the "3300 fts" is correct on that dial. The majority of caribbean 1000 models are printed that way. [Edit: sorry, I missed the "canbbean". ]
Should be Caribbean rather than Canbbean edit: looks like i posted few seconds too late @No Mercy beat me to it...
Sorry for not being specific, I've always liked a sly allusion over an explicit statement. Nice "Can o beans", @rcs914.
Wait. So, is that for sure a re-dial or some sort of weird lens distortion hiding the full letter i ? Who the hell would redial a Paul Peugot?
Dear god, just seen this doing some post research on Jenny’s. It defies belief that anybody could get this so wrong! All that trouble gone through, and let’s face it, not a small amount of skill in undertaking the re-finishing (whether you approve of the re-dial process) and you drop the ball like this. Also, as a customer you don’t spot it.
