You may remember that I bought a nasty looking Defy a while back, with a pleasant surprise inside of it.

Well, about an hour ago I finished the restoration of it with a little help from another Defy that was genuinely NOS until I took it to a watchmaker who damaged the case back, the bezel, the movement and the bracelet - full house. I still need to do a little work reshaping the bracelet but first a reminder of the eBay watch:

Looking great, perhaps a little reshaping of the "watchmaker" is now called for

 

At the least. I would think they are more a watch repairman than a watchmaker.
