The local roads department recently finished pouring a new sidewalk not far from where I live.

They cleaned up, added new top soil and grass seed.

This morning I went for a short walk.

An asshole had walked over the entire newly seeded soil, over a distance of approximately 700 metres.






It turned out to be a good walk nonetheless. 42 minutes, and only a short way beyond the new soil, I found a $20 bill.

Hoping it belonged to the vandal.



42 minutes is not an olympian’s workout, but it’s still worthy of a new (likely tart) apple and some light reading.
