Lume plots restored at 12,3,6,9. Hand lume reinstated. New crystal. And shortly, now crown. More pics to come when I get the crown fitted and watch back! Watch this space

Those are the after pics!
Sorry, I was looking on my phone and missed that entire post with the after pics. Looks great. He did a wonderful job on the lume plots, too.

Hey there, I’ve only just seen this thread, but it was in fact me with whom you were in a bidding war with on e-bay back in April. As you say it certainly is a pretty special dial and it’s nice to see it restored. If you ever do decide to sell then please let me know. Many thanks, Liam

No way!!! Amazing. Haha you drove me to very very high price indeed! Out of interest what made you go so high, what about the watch do you love so much?

It was the dial I was so interested in - I have a small collection of Omega tropical stardust dials. Yes it did reach quite an extraordinary price for a seamaster.

Ah yes - for me was the rare combo of sharktooth indices and black dial. probably my favourite dial configuration on these old seamasters.

For what it’s worth I’d also call this silver gilt. For me that’s an accurate description.
