Regulating a Fast Watch (+40s/day) with a Timegrapher - Advice Needed

Hello everyone,

I’m looking for some guidance on regulating my watch using a timegrapher. It’s currently running at about +40 seconds per day, so I’d like to slow it down slightly.

Could someone point out where the regulator lever is on this movement, and explain how to adjust it properly? I’d especially appreciate advice on what not to do to avoid causing any damage.

If anyone is willing to annotate the attached photo, that would be extremely helpful.

I’m aware the movement would benefit from a service, but aside from the rate, the other timegrapher readings look quite good.

Thanks in advance.

Push that that way very slowly.
As for "advice on what not to do to avoid causing any damage" don't go any lower than it or you'll hit the ballance, probably best to practice on a junker but it's your watch, good luck.
