Are there watches you regret selling or regret not buying. This was my Speedy Pro that I converted to Panda dial. I sold about a year ago. Should have held on to it! At least it went to a good home...........sigh. How about your regrets/sellers remorse? Jeff

1939 LeCoutre GSTP navigators watch...... The RAF bought hundreds of general service time pieces but only a few of the LeCoutres of chronometer quality pocket watches, they cost the RAF about nine times what the run of the mill GSTP watches cost. (including the Omegas) Mine had a white face, of which only about 10% of the LeCoutres were fitted, most were black. The LeCoutres were so costly and rare that they were only issued to lead bombers on major raids..... So I had the rarest of the best of the service pieces. It was in good condition and kept excellent time...... at least I traded it for an Omega!

I wouldn't mind it back, even though it had enough radium on the dial to make you wonder about the wisdom of wearing it.

I lifted this picture off the web, but it looks like the one I had.

Regret is an understatement...I would have serious depression if I got rid of that watch! Have to add a Panda to the list of must haves...

My only saving grace is that dials are still available at around $300. If the funds present themselves, I'd get another and do it again! For now, I'll use this "Therapy Thread" to stop kicking myself!!

I can't help with this one as I've never sold a watch. To me it is akin to pimping your daughter, although I would encourage you all to do it - sell your watches, that is (especially ones on my target list)

I have only sold 1 watch.
Bought this one for the box and papers.
Put it eBay for $600 BIN. It was gone in 10 minutes.

Never should have sold it. Why?

Damn, you're right, what were you thinking! That's beautiful and finding a minty one of those with square window is stupidly difficult.

I'm sure I used the funds for something worthy though...:D

Even though the case was gold capped, it was one of the sharpest 2627 cases I've seen. The present owner will only give it up if I let go of this one which isn't happening anytime soon...
