Just wondering is this par for the course, or was this watch lumed on a Monday morning?

The dial is late 1960's. Has the lume decayed...or does lume shrink? Possibly re-lumed by an intern?

If it is shrinkage then you would expect the same things on the dot too right?

And the hand lumes has dark spots but the dial lumes don't.

Meh...yeah... but the hand lume is possibly reacting with the metal, and also looks like it's behind a glaze of some kind – I wouldn't necessarily see it as evidence of a relume.

Odd though how precise the dots are, and how 3, 6 & 9 seem like they were applied via a toothpaste tube.

A more expertly lumed non-serif dial from the same era...made on a wednesday after a solid lunch.
