Hi, this one is found on C24 (Italian seller, Trustontime). Cant figure out whether the main dial is refurbished or not. It has a different patina than the subdials. However, who will only refurbish one part of the dial. Any thoughts? Have been chasing a pulsometer watch after Omega Bienne repainted my Omega 2451/174 from -46 , against instructions. Totally destroyed the dial.

Well executed redial IMHO.

They are scarce and far between for sure. At least the good and unmolested ones.

They do surface from time to time, so patience is key 👍.

Finding one with a "like new dial" is unicorn hunting. The dials tend to age. Some well, others not that well.

Well I collect Omega not Lemania, but IMHO the dial looks original. I have a very similar dial in an Omega 3 reg 27ChroC12

Nice watches! Question: This seller has sent me an offer (eBay). Looks like the one with black dial, northernman? Is the movement a 15TL? Dial original?

My opinion is that the OP dial is original, as there are no red flags so to speak that jump out at me. I am not versed in these Lemania models, however, after a brief search, just to solidify my opinions, I have found this example, which shows the same dial: 46597.jpg

Also, you'll often see a slight degradation of the subdials before other parts of the dial, i am not sure for certain why this is but I have seen it frequently, perhaps it has something to do with subdials not being a completely flat surface and instead made of concentric rings of troughs and peaks. I would imagine the peaks are more at risk of damage and hence why we see degradation here before other areas of the dial. Likewise we see this same thing around the edges of a subdials again, where there is a sharper edge.

and here without the glass:
I would say that is a legit dial. The lume seems to have been removed or replaced with something white and "modern" at some point? The dial should definitely have lume to match the hands.
The crown have been replaced at some point.
All in all a very nice watch with great potential!

The Lemania dials from back in the 40s and 50s are sometimes not easy to call fake or real.
It may be the pictures on the OP photos that does something to the impression of a redial😕.
Lemania fonts seems too fat, just not right, but I am not certain.

Having the dial examined under a microscope by a decent vintage watchmaker would most likely settle the discussion.👍

Hm, seems that it may be ok. Willing to take the risk. But 8000 euro, a bit high?

If the fletching on the arrow is distinct, which I can’t make out, not a redial IMO. Not a Lemaniac, but as a guy with a lot of old chronographs, but I see no reason to think this is a redial. If this is a redial, it’s a dammed good one.

Ah, sorry for confusion. You refer to the black dial one? I see the wire there. The 8000 euro is for the Italian one with pulsations dial

€8000 is around 3-5000 euros over priced in my opinion… maybe if it said Omega on the dial…. 😗

With Omega on the dial it would be a bargain.
Unfair really. Lemania is the proper "in house" version........
