I’m it sure my bank account would survive long if I blew >2k a week for a whole year

But I guess it’s only a problem if it’s financially damaging, or has the potential to become financially damaging. Why are you buying ? Why five vintage Speedmasters ?

Well yes, but a lot of Speedy collectors have a specific and narrow focus. Given the list I wondered if the Speedys were an investment, a collection, bargain eBay BINs, crazy impulse buys, or something else. A bit unusual to have two of the same reference.

Congratulations on having the disposable income (I hope) to have acquired all this. What’s the strategy? My advice is to hit the brakes and assess this pile of watches. Sell before you buy.

(Un-)fortunately, none at all. I've got a few on my wishlist, but with the upcoming Apollo anniversaries, I've decided to keep my foot on the brake for a while and only buy if one of the hardest to get came about. That didn't happen.

Apple watch? Yes you need help.

I went over the top in 2018 as well, and committed to not buying a watch in 2019. So far I'm on track. :)

I should make clear I don’t still own all the watches. I’ve swapped and sold for next one.

I would say I’ve purchased a watch for every single reason you’ve given :D

So, let me get this straight. This is the stuff you got only in single year 2018? If so, how many watches in total do you have? To clarify, I am being nosey because I am envious....

Still currently own about 2/3. Tastes are always changing. Usually it’s one in one out
