Received this today and would like input/opinions. Was described as "Original, unrefinished Golden Sunburst dial", but I think it's been refinished. Thanks for all input!

Well, the hands probably aren't original. Need a better pic to be sure on the dial.

It may be the angle of the picture, but looking at the fonts would say this is a redial. For example, the M in Omega appear not to be symmetrical, the middle line of the E is not centered, etc.

Ok, I despise returning watches, especially when it's an uncommon example and international shipping is involved. Opinions please on how other folks on this forum would handle the situation with seller.

Forgot to mention for those that aren't familiar. This is a ref 2975 with the large gold medallion back pictured in my avatar. Fairly short production run.

It's a pity to send a jumbo back, but the redial is obviously going to haunt you if you keep it.

I suppose it depends on what you have into it, it may be easier to find a suitable dial more easily than finding this reference again.

Well, the seller is convinced the dial has not been refinished. Anyone else care to comment or have opinion on this dial? Seller is willing to accept return, but this is a difficult reference to find. (I can source correct hands.)
