Seller disclosed that the dial has been refinished but the bezel and case are original. It's hard to find information on past pricing for this kind of thing since they come up so rarely. I'm thinking no more than $300?

If the case and movement are in very good or better condition, I'd say it would probably be a good buy based on parts value alone.

EDIT: Disregard the above. as @Syrte points out, it is a ladies watch, which changes the matter entirely.

I’ve seen a couple come up for sale lady size. If it is 27 or 29mm as I recall, I would most definitely not pay 300– and actually I think that’s too much.
What size are you looking at?
@Tony C. you must be thinking this is a man’s size - ie 40mm for this model.

Edit/ add— sorry just saw the title says 30mm. I’d try to offer less if you want it.

Cheers! The seller is asking a pretty unreasonable price by my standards, but I don't have a good gauge of the current market for this watch so this discussion is very helpful.

The market is weak for this size divewatches, in combination with a refinished dial I would reconsider..

I’ve seen a couple come up for sale, sellers have been getting super greedy but 300 USD would be acceptable only for one that’s entirely original.

If you like this one because it’s fun and funky, and you’d like to wear it, would offer 150 max for it.
Chances of finding an original dial for it seem very slim, very speculative at best.

Get this one instead if dial is original indeed, I have not checked. Offers accepted.
It’s been on sale on Ebay for at least 6 months, try to offer 280 euros and see what happens.

Also @connieseamaster, have you ever thought of getting a Certina lady diver like this one?

Those are super quality watches, right up your alley, and I know someone who had one for sale- and he’s now a member here, I’ll check with him if you’re interested.

The dial certainly looks more original, but I hate the proportion of the hands to the indicies to the rest of the dial ::shy::

Ah, I see what you mean, it kind of feels tight and choked up in that small aperture. Did you see the watch I added to the post in the meantime, the Certina?

Yeah, but I have a black bezel/black dial diver (Zodiac Seawolf) already. Right now I'm going for more innovative color schemes and/or variations on diving functions.

That one is correct. But you may like the 1500 better. Must be careful about the winding mechanism in these. The split stem is delicate and many of them are in really bad shape.

Totally with you on this. I have my blue, orange, and silver (plus a brown and lots of black). Looking for yellow now.

My long term hunt is a Doxa Sub200T Coralline. The Jenny Caribbean just happened to pop up on a filtered search.

Yeah, those don't come up too often, but I bet you will like it when you finally get one. I've been happily surprised with the Searambler.
