Respectable members... This is my Omega Automatic Bumper Cal 344 reff F 6231 Gold Filled 10K Need your opinion about the dial, coz can't find the picture in Omega Database
I'd like to see a better photo, but as it is I would say it's refinished because the font is too large and the SWISS MADE is too far apart. Wild strap choice!
@dennis : I've been living with my denial....coz I love it So much... arrggghhh....some one , please just tell me, this is the right dial
The strap is known as "BATIK"... and the painting is called "Urang Kipas" aka "Shrimp and Fan" This is my friend's hand made...
Unfortunately I strongly suspect Dennis is right. Black dials on these models and from this era in general are extremely rare, most were either silver, champagne or occasionally white. Another couple other points that makes me suspicious: The Swiss made text is far too close to the minute track What look like little pin pricks on the sub dial, I suspect these could have be made when the whoever did the redial was working out the spacing of the seconds track. As long as you like the watch, which you clearly do, a redial only really affects value of the piece, don't let it spoil your enjoyment. Cheers, Gary
