I asked Longines to provide to me details of the various options available for the 5045 watch.
The dials could be White, Copper, or Ebony. The earlier cases were fixed bars or spring bars.
Later cases were spring bars cases.

My opinion, below black dial doesn't look like it matches the style or design of other 5045 watches.
Also, typically there is no SWISS or SWISS MADE on these 5045 dials like the below has. It maybe
    an incorrect dial.

Possibly was original 5045 dial (removed from a smaller donor watch in the past?), but clearly has been altered. Hands are incorrect.

The black dial is a bit of a unicorn. Very hard to find. The below ref 4528 with a 37.5mm case and 12.68N may give an indication of what a black dial 5045 should resemble since it is very similar to the white and copper dials with correctly identified references.

For any collectors looking for a classic and reliable wristwatch from the 1940s, high chance it will be a Longines. The present lot is an attractive example of 1940’s Longines oversize time only ‘Calatrava’ style watch with a stunning lacquered dial with ‘copper’ Arabic numerals which are highly unusual, fitted with calibre 12.68Z that was produced between the 40’s to 50’s that is a robust, manual winding movement with anti-shock protection.

The present watch was invoiced on 21 May 1940 to the company Sadar, which was at that time Longines' agent for Celje. A simple three hands watch from the 1940s making it an excellent choice for anyone looking to have an evergreen classic example.
