    I have a cal 265 movement number 12747073 (so made around 1951/52).
It was originally sold in Austria.
I had it serviced 4 yrs ago and they noted the case reference as 09020.
    It's a 14k case, see the picture. P1010404.JPG
I've searched the net for this ref. but cannot find it.
Any ideas about it ? Could it have been noted down incorrectly ?
I have no way of opening it without causing damage and as it's in super condition I don't want to try.

    No ideas ??
I've thought it could be a separate case number or that the number was written incorrectly e.g. 2090 or even that it was cased in Austria, but haven't been able to pin anything down.

It would be a total guess on my part without better pictures.
Could be a mistake or locally cased.
I'm afraid you are going to have to open her up to solve this!

I guess you're right UncleBuck. I just find it frustrating not knowing and I as don't have the expertise to open it without damage I have to wait until my next visit to a watchmaker in October/November.
