    Wow how sharp is the engraving on the back of that... just curious why do these movements have those copper tabs around the edge, is that a spacer or something?

    That's a very sweet one, but do you glow when wearing it or is the lume replaced?

    agree - there are far too many vintage watches in Sweden. we must do something about that....

    A couple of you had questions about the lume on Kommis's watch. My 2400 has similar pristine lume, and actually it does glow a bit.
    Some Omega lume in the late '40s-'60s, whether mixed with radium or tritium, did have photoluminescent properties similar to what we expect with Luminova, activated with bright light and remaining visible in the dark for quite awhile. The several examples I have (this Suveran, a Ranchero, and a mid-60s 165.024) are original and do this.
