Offering this very rare & honest Zodiac Dato 12 ref. 2547SN, manual wind triple calendar.
Reference: 2547SN
Dial version: white dial with black registers, the most desired version
Snap back case version
Date: Circa 1972
Movement: 17-jewel Valjoux Cal.723 manual wind, signed Zodiac LTD on the bridge
Serial number: 191573 ( both serial and reference are perfectly visible between the lugs )
Watch is in an overall very good condition. Case unpolished.
Panda dial looks amazing with just a small scratch above the 7 o'clock hour marker and a bit of paint loss next to the 11 o'clock marker. Dial and hands have all the original tritium. I checked under UV and can provide pictures of that.
The watch got a complete movement service by watchmaker a month ago and is mechanically in perfect condition. I give a 12 month guarantee on the movement. This full calendar version is powered by an enhanced Valjoux 72 movement called Valjoux 723.
Make no mistakes guys, this is a very rare watch. It's exactly the same as the Heuer Carrera Dato ref. 2547SN but a lot cheaper. We have seen very high prices on these watches. An Heuer version 2547SN was just sold at Bonhams for €10,694. ( https://www.bonhams.com/auctions/24631/lot/62/ )
