·For sale is an uncommon IWC caliber 853 in a platinum case.
The case is in phenomenal condition - one of the nicest I have seen. All of the original factory brushed and polished surfaces are clearly defined. I do not believe this has ever been polished. The case is 35mm in diameter and wears beautifully due to the elongated lugs. The case is platinum, manufactured for the Japanese market, with correct hallmarks inside the caseback.
The dial is also in excellent condition with classic sunburst finish. Original dauphine hands. The crown is unsigned, which is correct for these watches.
The movement is the classic automatic cal 853. I do not know the service history but it is running very well.
The pictured brown strap is a custom strap and will not be included. The watch will ship on an inexpensive black strap. The watch comes with an uncommon stainless steel IWC buckle with vintage logo, which would be correct for this watch.
I have taken photos in several different light setting so you can get a better idea of the case and dial. No filters or processing were used. These are straight from my phone.
For this watch I am asking $3850, which will include shipping the USA. International deals are welcome with shipping at cost minus USA shipping cost. I have many transactions on this forum with feedback in the seller review section.
