·Hi guys and Happy New Year!
I'm selling this spectacular vintage Movado M95 chronograph with a very rare all black gilt radium dial.
In details:
Dial: This is a very rare dial. All black - slighty turning into tropical - with nice gilt graphics, Movado logo and original lume in nidexes and hands. As you can see dial is in lovely conditions, graphics are intact, overall is very very appealing. Radium dial and "new" Movado logo dates the watch at approx late 50s. We will come back to it later.
Hands appear correct to me - the hand from minute sub-counter is very very rare.
Movement: M95 in-house movement, perfectly working. Last service is unknown.
Case - caseback -crown: Here is where things will be more interesting. As you can see serial (it's very low! 338 is the serial number) is matching between case and caseback. Reference number is double printed. This feature is present only for example coming from this batch. Here you can see another example, with same features: black gilt radium dial, low serial number, same double stamped reference.
In my opinion this watch comes from a very very small batch between first and second series (the one from 60s. with panda dials).
Anyway, it's a Francois Borgel case, 35.5mm wide, excluding crown (that is original and with 60s logo as well).
Watch will come with a brand new italian leather strap.
Price: Considering conditions, appealing and rarity (in my research I found only other 3 examples from this batch) I'd like to have 6900€ net to me. Payment by bank wire is preferred, Paypal (F&F) is another option.
Me and watches are located in Italy. I have thousands of references to provide if needed, you can buy wih total confidence.
