Hi, In an attempt to further trim down my collection, I'm putting up a piece I've really enjoyed wearing. While I really don't want to sell this one, it's too similar to my Conquest and so I've decided to let this one go. The All Guard preceded the more commonly seen Conquest and is almost identical to the Conquests of the same era, but without the gold medallion back. In my opinion, the real star here is the dial which has aged to an even, warm cream color with a hint of salmon. The applied multi-faceted figures and Longines wings look lovely, and the lume plots have turned a creamy shade of yellow and are all present. This example is all original with the exception of the crown. There is also an inscription on the back that reads "Outstanding Marine Thomas V. Love Joy". More details: Year: 1950s Dial: Original Case: 35.1 mm not including the crown, stainless steel case with normal wear and wear for a 60+ year old piece Movement: Original, 17-jewel caliber 19AS automatic. Service history unknown but keeps time to +12 seconds per day in my experience (ymmv) Crown: Not original, fits and works well Hands: Original Strap: Strap/bracelet in pics not included Watch and I are in the US and I can ship worldwide (with some exceptions). No returns unless the movement is unoriginal (unfortunately I cannot get the back open as I don't have the right tool with me). I’m asking $500 USD net to me, which will also include 2 day insured shipping within CONUS. Other countries at cost. Paypal or bank wire only. Plenty of references available upon request. Thanks! A couple queries but still here. In case you missed it, here is a video of the watch from this past weekend: https://imgur.com/32g2ZdD
No one is gonna call this the Simpson's All-Guard? That watch might have belonged to Reverend Lovejoy! GLWS! (If I didn't have a Comet from around the same time, I'd have already bought this!)
