Aquariusmatic
·Up for sale is another super compressor vintage diver from my collection.
This linear features beautiful broad arrow hands with creamy patina, a patinad dial and an all original EPSA case.
Plexi is a replacement EPSA plexi which is kind off okay in size but should be pressed deeper into the case to allow the bezel to rotate perfectly, the bezel rotation is possible and working but AFAIK the plexi needs to be sitting at the correct depth in the case to allow for smooth operation of the bezel. I can't seem to come to terms about this with my watchmaker so there's that... The mechanical part behind the rotation is fully working with the rotating star having full set of teeth.
Fully working movement handwound or automatic jumps to life really fast and the date sets as it should.
Caseback is fully readable and not mangled by incompetent tries.
Crowns correct and crosshatched.
One thing to note I was warned about the linear brand was known for using Radium well into the 50s and 60s in combination with tritium. The patina on indices does warrant in my opinion at least a doubt that it in fact could be Ra and not T on the dial... Hands are in my opinion tritium. Both do not recharge and show 0 illumination when blasted with light.
I'm asking 1000eur pretty firm on this one with free shipping worldwide.
Bracelet is a no name hair puller it was obtained with from an owner in Italy.
Any questions please dm.
Thanks
