··Vintage Omega AficionadoI don't say this often about a watch, but this one is nearly unworn, showing only the very slightest signs of use, worn a few times and put away in it's box for fifty plus years.
The angular and chunky stainless steel steel screw back case with "Spillman-esque" lugs, features a smoothly rotating bi-directional bezel, the lower crown screws down, locking the bezel in place. The upper crown winds and sets the time. Fitted with a Tropic style rubber strap, still soft and pliable with no stickiness.
Striking mint sunburst silver dial with black bar markers with luminous center stripes and high contrast black luminous filled hands. The black and white inner 24 hour bezel is fixed (not supposed to rotate).
Gruen caliber 730 CA automatic wind movement, with semi-quick-set date, service history unknown but is running well, service recommended for regular use. Please note the movement and inner case back photo was borrowed from the net, I do not want to damage the case back with my opener.
Large 41-mm across the bezel x 48.3-mm lug tip to lug tip.
