Here for sale today a lovely early 1940's Mido Multicenter-Chrono with a really fantastic copper-toned tropical dial and with a fully serviced movement.

Mido produced these chronographs between the early 1940's and 1950's and they have something of a unique design style with no sub dials and 4 central hands, two of which are for the 60 minute counter.

The tachy-telemetre dial of mine started out black but has since tropicalised to a really stunning warm brown colour that changes to copper when it catches the light. The hands are aged and a perfect match.

The rose gold top case is in very good shape with just some wear to the pusher caps and crown. These are of course the 'famous' pusher caps always touted as being used by Patek for one of their watch references...but I won't mention that as it doesn't really impress me so much 😉.

The engraved case back has a few scratches and the dust cap is present.

The calibre 1300 is an attractive looking movement and is based on the Valjoux VZ. This one has been serviced by my WM in late 2018 so is running very well indeed with the chronograph operating smoothly and as it should. A new correct crystal was also fitted during service.

€4250 net to me (now €3500) will include worldwide Track & Trace postage. Selling head only but I can fit a matching black strap if required

Payment by Bank Transfer or PayPal for established forum members only.

Any questions....just ask! 😀
