REDUCED - Excellent 1966 OMEGA Stainless Steel - Ref 135.011

Classic hand wind stainless steel 1966 reference 135.011. This reference is most commonly seen as a Seamaster 600 or Genève, this one just happens to be plain.

Superb original sunburst silver dial with pointed bar markers with black accents.

Crisp stainless steel screw back case, signed crown and clean generic crystal.

Nice clean 17-jewel caliber 601 hand wind movement, service history unknown but seems to be running OK, service recommended. Serial number dates to ca 1966.

I don't normally bump just to comment but I've sold a couple of these in the past when stripping them of their bracelets for Speedmasters and I have to say these are among the best entry level watches you can buy around $500 on balance when you consider the quality and robustness of the movement, relative water resistance for its age and wearability. If you're someone new who hasn't yet bought their first good watch this and other Geneve models are a great way to start.
