Not sure if anyone is still after a copy who doesn't have one yet, but Blackwells have bought up stock from a bankrupt wholesaler, and are offering them online at £130 a piece... which is a £70 reduction. http://bookshop.blackwell.co.uk/bookshop/product/Moonwatch_Only/9782940506033 I've just called my local branch in London, who confirm they have 15 (now 14) in stock, but once they're gone, they're gone, as this is not a publisher they normally stock. Rather than try and profit from you lovely people, I'd rather you got the book as cheap as I have just done... please everyone respect that and don't buy multiples to ebay... Get 'em while they've got 'em.
Good of you to share that with the forum at the time... A lot of websites show cheap stock... but then don't actually have the book! I called to confirm this was actually available to buy at this price before sharing.
Thank you for sharing They are available on ebay for around the same price for quite some time now: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Moonwatch-Only-Rossier-Gregoire-9782940506033-/182265615084Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network http://www.ebay.com/itm/Moonwatch-O...try-manufacturing-9782940506033-/172221322441Purchases made through these links may earn this site a commission from the eBay Partner Network
A lot of the sellers seem not to actually have them though... they're selling what they believe they can source from a wholesaler... the eBay feedback can be enlightening!
That's a great price for a fabulous book. Good find and well done for posting. Shame I already have a well thumbed version .
I ordered mine from Blackwells a couple of months ago - a bit wary as the price seemed too good to be true. But I received a perfect copy, very well packed and delivered within 2 days: quite a rare thing, a genuine bargain! And the book itself is so absorbing. Previously I'd kidded myself I didn't need it as all the information - even if in fragmented form - is available on line. But the value of having a hard copy book to browse and dip in and out of is immense. Just wish it wasn't so bloody heavy!
