Hello All, Another one of my affordable vintage chronographs to go. I bought it two years ago, have worn it two or three times. AVIA was a Swiss company which designed and made watches using Swiss movements during the 40s, 50s and 60s. They were quite successful in the US, Ball Watch Co. and Wittnauer & Co. among their importers and distributors. DIAL: Near mint condition. CASE: Gold plated, I presume 20 micras. Sharp edges. No dings. Normal signs of use. Wear of plating more noticeable on pushers and crown. Scratches on the SS screw-in caseback. Diameter 36mm without crown. Love the "A" signed crown, quite unusual for chronographs of this category at the time. This watch is equiped with a Landeron 149 which keeps time well although I make no claim on accuracy. Chrono function, reset to Zero all work as they should. Service history unknown. Price: €275 including tracked signed shipping within UE (shipping to rest of world on cost, estimated +20€ to US/Canada) (I might not be able to ship to certain countries). (Depicted band included) Payment: Bankwire or Paypal F/F preferred. Paypal G/S (+4%) OK from established members. Return: If watch grossly misrepresented, within 48h from reception. Feedback: My only sale here: https://omegaforums.net/threads/exceptional-purchase-experience-w-rochete.86694/ I can provide plenty of buying and selling feedback on ebay and the Spanish horological forum on request. All questions welcome. Thanks for looking.
