·The last watch I will be selling for now is a vintage Omega chronograph, reference 2381.
The dial is a classic 2 register chronograph with design elements similar to the earlier cal 33.3's. The dial has developed a pleasant patina which looks fantastic in outdoor lighting and direct sunlight. I have attached photos in several different light settings.
There are multiple small, hairline imperfections on the dial that can be seen in the expanded photos. However, the overall condition is very good for an early 1940s watch. The outer red tachymetre scale is in good condition without any print losses. Similarly there is no loss of print elsewhere on the dial.
The case is 37mm with 20mm lug spacing, which is considered large for the time period. The case is strong and does not appear polished. The subtle lug lines are intact as is the brushing on the side of the case. The crown and pushers appear original. The crystal is replaced. Original hands, very good condition.
This watch houses the 27CHRO movement, which was a follow-up to the famous 33.3 and predecessor of the cal 320. I do now know the service history of this watch but the movement appears quite clean (see photo). Winding and time setting are smooth, and the chrono hand resets to zero.
The watch will come on the brown strap seen in the photos.
Price reduced to $4,000 which will include shipping in the US. International deals are no problem, and I have done many before. International shipping will be at cost minus what I would pay for US shipping. I have a FedEx/ParcelPro account, which is helpful for international customs.
