Pulled this last year but with work still to do on the car restoration it's back on the market with new (and much reduced) pricing... This watch is in excellent condition by any measure and with price reduced to USD 6,990 or current market equivalent in any major currency - CHF, GPB, EUR, AUD... you cannot find better.... I have sent watches from my sell-down to the US and Europe with no issues and no additional cost to the purchaser. Shipping via DHL or FedEx with shared costs and insurance to be discussed. The first reference 345.0808 steel display back Speedmasters were produced between 1985 and 1988 with a copper-coloured 'luxury finish' 863 calibre movement. Two visual differences in this second numbered edition (produced between 1988 and 1990) are a switch to the yellow-plated 863 and inclusion of an 'A' in front of the engraved number on the display back bezel. The production run - like the first edition - is believed limited to 1,000 watches which makes this more limited than most of Omega's 'limited editions'... This watch was purchased three years ago from a fastidious OF member. I've worn it sparingly over that period. Not serviced in my ownership as functions perfectly - winds effortlessly, the chrono functions (start, stop, reset) work exactly as they should, accurate timekeeping at +/- 7s per day (see timegrapher pic added 2/2/24)... The dial, bezel and hesalite crystal are unblemished. The logo, all writing and sub-dial markings are crisp and clear. All lume is intact and has aged to a very even (and pleasant) light custard colour. The case appears unpolished, the lugs are crisp and bevels show only a couple of very minor marks. All display back bezel writing is crisp and clear. As an early example of the 2nd edition it's fitted with the super comfortable 1450 bracelet, but has 809 end links (which MO states were fitted to the ST 376.0822 'Holy Grail') rather than the expected 808s. The bracelet will fit a 7.5" wrist. The clasp has a few (almost imperceptible) marks. I trust the photos give you all the needed angles - please ask any questions or correct any inaccuracy in my description. I have references on the forum as both seller and buyer.
