Up for sales today is a 'Jumbo' Connie from 1963.
Thanks to this great community and its people, we have some amazing article and threads about the reference:
Story: Deep dive: The 37mm Jumbo Constellation 168.001
Thread: Show me your Jumbo Connie (only Omega 168.001, 14777, 14778, 14395 and 14396 allowed)
Conditions of the watch for sale:
- Dial: Original dial, with sunburst effect. The dial has signs of aging as shown in picture, scripts and markers are still well visible. I would say the overall condition of the dial is about average. With correct set of dauphin hands in good condition
- Case: Sharp case, facets are still visble, has been polished lightly in the past. The gold Observatoy logo on the back is in good condition.
- Movement: Omega Cal. 561, Serial in 20 mils range, date the watch to aprox 1963. Watch is running and winding feel smoothly. Have not been service and untested for accuracy.
- Crown: Original and correct decagon crown, a bit tricky to wind but goes nicely with Connies.
- Plexie: Original with sign.
- Afteremarket straps and buckle
Priced at $1,350 (was $1,480) (or same amount in EUR, GBP...), which include:
- 3-5 days shipping worldwide with DHL.
- 100% value insurance with secursus
