Uncommon dog-leg Seamaster ref 2984 in stainless steel with jumbo hippocampus snap back, (same style as the Melbourne Olympic Games Seamasters).

Original cross-hair dial shows well with applied figures and nice patina.

20-jewel caliber 501 movement. Service history unknown but running OK, ca 1958.

33.9-mm not including the crown x 42.4-mm lug tip to lug tip.

You're right, currently only one example on eBay, asking a ridiculous $2000+ for it (the exact watch I sold to Kyle a few years back), and none showing in sold history.
