This Universal Genève ref. 206506 is quite a rare piece in this condition. It dates to 1951 (1.52mio serial number). The bi-color dome sandwich dial is beautiful. It shows a nice even patina with a slightly more pronounced imperfection in the center area around 8 o'clock. The hands and indices still look extremely nice. The full 35mm stainless steel case is sharp and unpolished, the lugs that turn inwards are spectacular. There is a slight bump on the bezel between 12 and 1. The midcase shows the original brushing. The caseback is good and shows the original brushing, although there are some rougher pitting spots on the right. Everything is original, including crown and crystal. The watch was a proper barn find. A full service was executed by my watchmaker, in which the following parts were replaced with original UG cal. 332 pieces (which were tough to find): balance staff, part 445 setting lever spring. It runs wonderfully, I make reference to the included picture of the timegrapher, made today.
